How The Social Hour Came to Be
Before The Social Hour was a business, it was a way of life. Founder Pinckney Watford has spent more than sixteen years immersed in hospitality, from learning every corner of the industry from the ground up. Long nights behind the bar, packed rooms, quiet conversations, and the subtle art of reading a crowd shaped not just her skill set, but her perspective. Somewhere along the way, it became clear that hospitality didn’t have to follow a rigid script to be professional. It could be thoughtful without being stuffy. Polished without being pretentious. Energetic without feeling chaotic. The Social Hour was created to bring that philosophy to life by blending experience, creativity, and genuine connection into bar service that feels intentional from start to finish.
